The Tom Park Student Bursary was created in 2013 to honour the life, legacy and volunteer spirit of Tom Park, a former IDIBC volunteer and generous contributor to the interior design community.
Intention:
This bursary will be awarded to a minimum of one eligible student nominee who best exemplifies the spirit of participation and volunteerism within the interior design profession above and beyond their curriculum requirements, making an impact on their future profession and furthering the goals of IDIBC.
Grade point average or financial need are not influencing factors.
The award is $1000 per student.
Eligibility:
Any full or part time student member of IDIBC in good standing who is either:
• Resident of BC for provincial tax purposes, or
• Enrolled in a CIDA accredited four year Bachelor of Interior Design degree in BC.
Nominee must be a student in the program in the calendar year in which they are nominated.
