IDIBC received a generous donation towards the Tom Park bursary fund from his sister Josie Bergman.  In her letter she mentioned how humbled she was to learn how well thought of Tom was by the design community.  She and her family miss his enthusiasm terribly and it helped them to know that they are not alone.  They are pleased to be able to contribute to his on-going memory.  The Tom Park Bowlerama fundraiser is scheduled to take place later this spring.  We hope to see you all there.

3. The Vancouver Chapter is Up and Running!
A brainstorming session was held on January 27th, 2016 at the Teknion Showroom to discuss the Vancouver Chapter.  We were excited to have two wonderful individuals come forward to take on the roles of Co-Chairs for the chapter.  A breakfast meeting will be scheduled in early April to introduce the new Chapter Chairs and provide more details about this new and exciting endeavour focused on bringing our design community together. Stay tuned for more details.
