Interior Designers of Canada becomes true national voice for industry
IDC announces a restructuring of its organization that will strengthen its role as the voice of interior design.
Toronto, ON – April 27, 2010 – Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) announces a restructuring of its organization that will strengthen its role as the voice of interior design. The announcement was made at the Association’s Annual General Meeting held April 23 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The meeting was attended by more than 40 representatives from across Canada who came together to celebrate the restructuring and elect a new board of management.

Canada Green Building Council Announces LEED Exam Deadlines
Please note the following important LEED Canada exam deadlines. The CaGBC would like to encourage anyone interested in writing these exams to register and schedule their exams as soon as possible due to a high volume of exam takers expected during this period. In 2010 the GBCI will be introducing new exams to Canada.

COPS B.C. Unique Scenario 2007-2017 Report Now Available
We are pleased to inform you that the report “Ten-Year Employment Outlook for British Columbia, COPS B.C. Unique Scenario 2007-2017” is now released. The Canadian Occupational Projection System (COPS), B.C. Unique Scenario project is to develop a ten-year detailed employment demand projection for industries and occupations in British Columbia. The projection was developed by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development (ALMD) in partnership with Service Canada B.C./Yukon/Alberta/Territories Region.
