Senior Interior Designer

Overview:

The Senior Interior Designer will provide design direction, lead a team and assist Partners and Associates with business development while mentoring and coaching intermediate and junior interior designers.

Key Functions & Duties:

• Carrying projects from start to finish
• Quality control
• Training juniors on each job
• Reviewing drawings
• Budgeting
• New business development
• Staffing
• Mentoring
• Job assignment of team
• Job critique
• Design development
• Project management

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Qualifications, Skills, Abilities)

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience
• Post- Secondary Degree in Interior Design
• Excellent Time management
• Strong design experience
• Flexibility, Dedication & Passion
• Ability to see the big picture
• Business sense
• Strong communication/negotiation/leadership skills
• Strong technical background
• Understanding of contract documents
• Ability to multitask
