Senior Interior Designer
Overview:
The Senior Interior Designer will provide design direction, lead a team and assist Partners and Associates with business development while mentoring and coaching intermediate and junior interior designers.
Key Functions & Duties:
- Carrying projects from start to finish
- Quality control
- Training juniors on each job
- Reviewing drawings
- Budgeting
- New business development
- Staffing
- Mentoring
- Job assignment of team
- Job critique
- Design development
- Project management
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Qualifications, Skills, Abilities)
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience
- Post- Secondary Degree in Interior Design
- Excellent Time management
- Strong design experience
- Flexibility, Dedication & Passion
- Ability to see the big picture
- Business sense
- Strong communication/negotiation/leadership skills
- Strong technical background
- Understanding of contract documents
- Ability to multitask
