Role:  Project & Facilities Standards Coordinator

Key leadership role on dynamic Design & Construction team.  Reports to Director. Works with range of internal/external stakeholders.  Based at Corporate Home Office in North Vancouver, responsible for:

  •  developing, reviewing, updating prototype Facilities Standards drawings;
  •  translating concepts to detailed drawings;
  •  construction problem-solving;
  •  product sourcing/ and evaluation;
  •  document systems management;
  •  preparing/analyzing budgets for prototypical drawings;
  •  developing recommendations for product/design innovation; and
  •  directly assisting Project Managers. 


  •  Excellent architectural drafting/detailing skills (millwork and construction);
  •  Strong knowledge of construction practices and materials;
  •  Proactive, organized problem-solver, able to lead and be hands on;
  •  Team player, collaborator, assertive, diplomatic, calm under pressure;
  •  Meets deadlines;
  •  Anticipates impacts of decision, at project and organization level;
  •  Excellent AutoCAd/ design software skills;
  •  Aware of trends in design/ construction;
  •  Confident, resilient, accountable and able to implement innovation;
  •  Post-secondary degree/diploma in Architecture, Building Technology, or Design; and
  •  At least 5 years’ relevant experience
