2001 Awards of Excellence

April 2 2002- The Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia is pleased to announce the winners of the 2001 Interior Design Awards of Excellence. The awards were announced this evening at a gala reception at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre in conjunction with the Design Northwest trade show. Many thanks to our sponsor of both the reception and awards presentation: the Design Resource Association (DRA) and the event media sponsor Design Quarterly Magazine. We would also like to extend a special thank you to our judges who were hosted by Herman Miller. This years judges were Barbara Duggan, RID from Kwantlen University College; Charlotte Jensen, past president of the National Council for INterior Design QUalification (NCIDQ), from San Diego, California and Ester Ritchie, president of the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) from Ottawa, Ontario. We would also like to extend a special thanks to our awards & reception planning committee members who worked hard to make all of this happen!
